The Partridge Family

The Partridge Family was an American sitcom that aired from September 25, 1970 to March 23, 1974. The series was created by Bernard Slade and produced by Bob Claver and Mel Swope of Screen Gems. It was inspired and loosely based on the real-life family band The Cowsills, who had their own TV show in the early 1960s. The Partridge Family featured a fictional family band that included David Cassidy as its main vocalist.
